A Bit of History on the Electric Chair

The Electric Chair began as Sunline Surfboards in 1980, with the Electric Chair opening in 1983.  Originally an experiment in the punk rock scene of the early '80's, the Electric Chair quickly dominated the scene, setting the standard for years to come.  With the growth of the alternative and independant industries throughout the 80's and 90's, the Electric Chair expanded over the years into our current location in Huntington Beach, California, and up until 1990 had a store in Long Beach, California as well.  Since then, we have also opened a store in Riverside, California, and between the two stores, and the web site, we can satisfy all of your alternative clothing needs.  As the times have changed, we have changed with them, always bringing our customers the best of the alternative scene.  Whether you are looking for the latest in streetwear, gothic and rockabilly apparel, or classic punk rock gear, we have what you are looking for.
